About
Argo Business Compliance helps clients add value through honest feedback on processes and systems, and by highlighting problems and risks to be considered.

Working together, we identify issues upfront and then seek to resolve them with proper and sufficient management attention.
Our common objective is to have a solid business environment with little scope for any last-minute surprises.
Sam is a Business Finance Professional with ICAEW accreditation. He trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in central London.
During his early career, he worked mainly with owner-managed clients before enhancing his knowledge and broadening his experience. His varied and in-depth work in public practice includes general accounting, audit, and taxation.

Sam also worked in audit and business advisory services with Price Waterhouse Birmingham, which included a six-month receivership appointment in the automotive industry. Then he returned to London to start his own accountancy practice, serving SME’s and growing businesses.
A fresh challenge arose in 2018 when Argo Business Compliance was established to provide bespoke support to SME’s, by exploiting the benefits of practical and relevant aspects from larger enterprises.
Sam has worked as a trustee and treasurer of a local charity, and continues to volunteer when practicable. He enjoys not smoking, the gym, time with family and friends, following Premier League football, and chasing his two Westies. The Argo in Greek mythology
The story of Jason and the Argonauts is the most famous tale of Greek mythology, and the story of the quest to obtain the Golden Fleece has been told and retold for countless generations.

Jason and the band of heroes he travelled with were collectively called the Argonauts, and they were voyagers upon the ship Argo. The journey was a long one and the sailors of the Argo faced many trials and tribulations, but the Argonauts set to their oars with great vigour and succeeded in their mission.

The word argos in Greek means “swift”.
